I have an obsession with a couple of things. Many of you know about my obsession with Pretty Little Liars and mint flavored things, but I love mason jars too. They are all around my house: the kitchen dining room, living room and office. Now we added them to the bathroom.
I was tired of seeing “junk” all over the bathroom counter. I needed to store the items nearby, but without the clutter. So we decided to mount mason jars with this Mason Jar Organizer. I found the inspiration on Pinterest…of course.
Here are the supplies that we used:
– Mason Jars
– Hose Clamps (found in the plumbing section of your hardware store)
– Wood (cut to the length you want your organizer to be)
– Tape Measure
– Wood putty
– Paint or Wood Stain
– Paint Brush or staining rags
There are 2 ways to attach or hang your wood. You can attach picture hooks to the back of the wood so it can be removed at any time like a picture. Or you can make it a permanent fixture like we did.
since we made ours a permanent fixture, I’m going to give you the tutorial on how to do it that way.
Attach your wood to your wall with your screws.
Use your wood putty and cover up the screw holes. Let it dry.
Paint or stain your piece of wood. Let it dry.
Measure out where you’d like your jars to be. Take your hose clamp and screws and screw the clamp fast to the wood.
Repeat that step until your clamps are used for the amount of jars you’re using.
Put your jars in the clamp and turn the screw tight around the jars.
